This crisis has spiraled out of control. It's a total fiasco. We've tried everything to fix it, but nothing seems to work. At this point, it feels like we're doomed. Frankly, I don't know what else to do. This is a mess of epic proportions.

Awful Day Ever
It all started with a terrible case of morning hair. I couldn't make it to look decent. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedon and gracefully all over myself. To make matters worse, I was totally running behind for work.

It all started out badly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then things went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
